Wire Sawing

Wire sawing is a technique using diamond impregnated wire, running through a series of drive and guide pulleys to form cuts where other methods of drilling or sawing aren't feasible due to the shape or size of the material to be cut. Threaded on a flywheel driven hydraulically or by an electric motor, diamond wire is used primarily for cutting heavily reinforced concrete where space is limited and time is critical. The use of diamond wire allows for cutting structures unlimited in size with no vibration or dust.

Typical applications include:
• Straight smooth finished opening in walls, ceiling, and floor
• Mass concrete removal without breakage
• Performs cuts in restricted locations
• Cut through heavy rebar and embedded steel
• Cut concrete virtually unlimited thickness
